Children and scooter

Children enjoy in road traffic law special protection. Especially children under seven years have impaired motor skills and their environment is not completely true ("deficient performance"). The risk of an accident to, is for children under seven years higher than for older children. Therefore, were already so far for children under seven years of special road rules. This worked well and should therefore continue. The ASTRA sees as also no reason to change these rules. Material, the only proposed change is that these new rules will apply to "children under seven years " and no longer "subject to pre-children."
